Biography:
With more than 30 years of experience, Glen Waldman has tried both jury and non-jury cases with disputes related to contracts, fraud, fraudulent transfers, business partnerships, land use, wills, construction, real estate, insurance, trademark infringement and banking. He also represents and advises businesses about their contractual relationships, internal controls and procedures, and other legal and strategic decisions. Ranked by Chambers USA and noted as an “accomplished commercial litigator” for his innovative litigation techniques, Glen has obtained jury verdict awards in the seven- and eight-figure range in commercial and real-estate matters, and successfully defended claims of equal size. He has achieved similar success in the areas of real estate and land use and in probate courts. He has also secured numerous international arbitration awards valued as much as $50 million. Who’s Who Legal: Litigation calls him “one of the US’s leading trial lawyers.” In 2018, Glen won a jury verdict of $26 million in a protracted case involving homeowners who fought the development of luxury condominiums, Privé at Island Estates, on a neighboring island in Aventura’s Dumfoundling Bay. He has been a member of ABOTA since 2015.
