Biography:
Sarah Steinbaum handles all areas of civil litigation, including professional, general and product liability. She has specialized her practice in the areas of professional liability, medical malpractice, personal injury, civil, commercial, nursing home negligence and abuse cases. With an extensive medical and legal knowledge, Sarah routinely lectures physicians, health care professionals and risk managers on malpractice and liability risk avoidance issues. Sarah received her Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and Religious Studies from Rice University in Houston, Texas and her Juris Doctorate from the University of Miami School of Law. At the University of Miami, Sarah served as President of the Moot Court Board and received honorary membership in The Society of the Bar and Gavel and The Order of Barristers. She was also honored by the University of Miami Forum for Women and the Law as “A Woman Who Makes a Difference.” Following her law school graduation, Sarah practiced with two large Miami Insurance Defense law firms, Kubicki Draper, PA and McGrane & Nosich, PA. until she opened her own practice. She serves as the Managing Partner of the Miami office of Jacoby & Meyers, PLLC. Sarah is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Mediator and is fluent in Spanish and conversational Italian. For over ten years, Sarah has been an Adjunct Professor for the University of Miami Litigation Skills The program, instructing second and third-year law students in trial advocacy. She regularly lectures in the areas of expert witness examination and deposition tactics and techniques.
